Our foster care experts walk beside you from the beginning application and remain a constant advocate and reliable source of support throughout any placements made in your home. Through a contract with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS), Sunbeam helps you become a foster parent at no cost to you. |

Join Sunbeam's Parent Education Classes! Through this 12-week class, parents learn how to; manage feelings, communicate needs, be empathetic, take charge of their own behavior, establish nurturing routines including bedtime and mealtimes, give and receive healthy touch, and apply more effective discipline techniques. We recently celebrated the dedication and ribbon cutting of Inasmuch Foundation Gross Motor Room at Edwards Early Education and Community Hope Center. Inasmuch Foundation granted Sunbeam $500,000 to support building renovations including Edwards EECHC and Pierce Early Education Center. Their generous grant inspired donors to support the renovation efforts at Edwards EECHC. OG&E was also celebrated for their partnership in sponsoring the STEAM equipment in the Inasmuch Foundation Gross Motor Room through a $50,000 grant to nurture early learning and curiosity in babies and toddlers. For babies and toddlers, early STEAM experiences help develop wonder, persistence, communication, problem-solving and mental flexibility. All these skills are crucial to ensure children are prepared for school and life success. |

Boeing is once again investing in the mind of tomorrow’s innovators. Recently, Boeing presented Sunbeam Family Services with a check for $65,000 to build equity and bridge achievement gaps through early STEAM. In total, Boeing has donated $405,000 to Sunbeam over the last five years to nurture early STEAM education at Sunbeam’s early education centers across Oklahoma City. Thank you, Boeing! |
